Official Rules:

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. SWEEPSTAKES BEGINS AT MIDNIGHT (ET) ON DECEMBER 1, 2004 AND ENDS AT 11:59 PM (ET) ON NOVEMBER 30, 2005.

1. HOW TO ENTER: Enter by filling out the entry form on the back of the 2005 College Customer Survey.

2. SELECTION OF WINNER: Winner will be determined from all eligible entries received in a random drawing to be conducted on or about January 1st, 2006 by Ward’s Natural Science, Inc., whose decisions are final on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Winner will be notified by phone, e-mail or U.S. postal mail.

3. ODDS OF WINNING & PRIZES - The prize consists of (1) compound microscope, with a retail value of $350.00. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received. Sponsors reserve the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value. Please allow 8-10 weeks for delivery of prize from date of winner confirmation. Taxes and fees, if any, are the sole responsibility of prizewinner.

4. ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes open to individual legal residents of the continental United States, Alaska and Hawaii (not valid in Puerto Rico) who have attained the age of 18 years or older as of the promotion December 1, 2004, except employees (and their immediate families and members of the same household) of Sponsors, their respective affiliates, agents, judges and advertising and promotion agencies.

5. VERIFICATION OF WINNER AND DELIVERY OF PRIZE: Winner will be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release and, where permitted, a Publicity Release. Prize may be awarded to alternate winner if affidavit is not returned within 14 days after mailing to winner or if prize notification letter or prize is returned as undeliverable. If prize is won by a minor, it may be awarded in the name of a parent or legal guardian. Winner agrees to use of name, address, likeness, and/or prize information for promotional purposes in any medium without additional compensation to the extent permitted by law, any such use with respect to minors to be subject to prior approval of parent or legal guardian. Participants must have on-line Internet access as of the promotion beginning date.

6. GENERAL: This Sweepstakes is void outside the United States, where prohibited or restricted by law or company policy and subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Sponsors and judges not responsible for late, lost, stolen, damaged, garbled, incomplete, misaddressed, postage-due, or misdirected entries, prize claims or mail. In the event of any cancellation, termination or suspension, a notice will be posted and a random drawing will be held from among all eligible entries received prior to such time. Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant if his or her fraud or misconduct affects the integrity of the Sweepstakes. By participating in this Sweepstakes, each entrant accepts the conditions stated in these Official Rules.

7. WINNER'S NAME: To obtain winner's name, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Ward’s Natural Science, P.O. Box 92912, Rochester, NY 14692-9012. Requests must be received by March 31st, 2006. Winner's name will be sent after selection of winner.
