Praying Mantis Egg Cases |
|
Tenodera aridifolia sinensis. A fascinating predator to study; as it lies in wait for its prey, its posture makes it appear to be praying, giving the insect its common name. Simply store the egg cases in a refrigerator until you are ready to use them; they will hatch in three to six weeks at room temperature, and will mature in three months. Culture instructions are included. Package of three.

- Monday, April 06, 2009 Praying mantis Reviewed By: MJohnson (Toledo, Ohio) I had a few hatch last week so I put the egg cases back into the cupboard. They need warmth and humidity to hatch. This morning I have a lot of them. I'd say that almost all have now hatched. Now what to feed them all!
