Students can perform a dissection right on the computer with simulated dissection tools that perform the same function as their real counterparts. They can perform the dissections either ventrally or dorsally and then magnify portions of the dissected anatomy for close-up review. The descriptive text gives information on the part of the anatomy that they are looking at, while the narrated video clips show the structures and techniques on real specimens. This software also features a section with labeled schematics of major body systems and on-screen quizzes, as well as on-screen help, instructions, glossary, and links to a web site with detailed information on the use of the software. Printable tests, worksheets, and puzzles are also included on the CD-ROM.
