This is a perfect starter kit for beginners! We provide enough Bio-Plastic to prepare several mounts, and students can use their own specimens as well as the practice specimens included in the kit. The kit contains 8 oz. of Bio-Plastic, which is a syrupy, synthetic resin that hardens to a crystal-clear solid with the addition of a catalyst, also included. The kit also comes with a square metal mold, mold releasing compound, a medicine dropper, a 4 oz. beaker, two small starfish, a mineral specimen, and instructions.
Bio-Plastic should be stored in a cool, dry area and has a shelf life of six months.
We are required to ship all Bio-Plastic and accompanying Bio-Plastic chemical compounds via UPS to insure safe, timely delivery.
