All you need is a hot plate or external heat source and this autoclave for economical sterilization. The portable unit needs just a small amount of water to develop steam pressure up to 20 psi that sterilizes in under 30 minutes. It is constructed of sturdy cast aluminum with a steam-tight cover, safety valve, steam-release petcock, metal air-release tubing, and accurate pressure gauge. It also features clamp locks that will prevent removal of the cover when pressurized. Capacity: 15 1/2 quarts. Size: 12 1/2″ dia. x 12 1/4″H.
