Sometimes called a “pooter” in collecting circles, this little device is used to selectively collect very small insects. Just inhale through the clear, plastic tube to draw insects into the attached vial, while the fine mesh screen prevents any accidental inhalation of debris or insects. The aspirator features an aluminum tube for picking up the insects and a clear, plastic vial to view your specimen after is it collected. Size of vial: 4″H x 1 3/8″ dia.; collecting tube: 5 mm I.D.
