Now with Long-lasting LED Illumination for Bright, Even Light
This microscope’s coated glass optics are parfocal and parcentered for a crisp, consistent field-of-view. In additon, many special features make it one of the most user-friendly microscopes available: strategically-located controls; rack-and-pinion brass-on-steel focus guide; 360° rotatable head for viewing from any angle; graduated mechanical stage; and eyepiece pointer. Designed to withstand years of wear and tear, it features all metal construction; a reinforced joint between the head and eyetube to prevent stripping; a recessed eyepiece set screw to prevent tampering; a slip clutch to protect gears; an adjustable stage stop to protect optics and slides (recessed to prevent tampering); and retractable 40X and 100XR objectives. The rechargable NiMH batteries can be recharged 500 times and will provide 50–70 hours of use per 8-hour charge.
