The open, extended-structure model set features longer bond lengths that can be used in both organic and inorganic compounds and medium-length links that are useful for single covalent bonds. Atoms represented include s, sp3, dsp3, and d2sp3; open models can be made using the medium-length links for single covalent bonds and the longer, flexible links for multiple bonds. The scale is 2 cm to 1 Å. The set includes illustrated instructions and 82 pieces packed in a compartmented, stackable, plastic storage box.
