Designed for research and teaching settings where ease of use is imperative, this thermal cycler offers numerous applications in molecular biology and diagnostic laboratories. This model’s high speed allows a typical 30 cycle program to be completed in around 60 minutes, enabling the operator to complete more work in a day. Using advanced peltier technology, the TC-3000 is capable of fast heating and cooling rates less than 2.0–3.0°C per second. An incremental/decremental segment hold time feature also allows the user to increase or decrease the hold time of a given segment hold with each cycle. Additional features include a heated lid, PC control and networking, 80-program memory, and small footprint for convenient storage. It accepts twenty-five 0.2ml tubes. Temperature Range: 4°–99°C. Maximum ramp rate: 3.6°C/sec.
