A variety of options are featured in WARD’S lab activity package covering cell replication. WARD’S prepared slides of onion root tip and fish blastula are included to study mitosis. We have also included all the materials necessary for students to prepare their own microscope slides of an onion root tip squash; you simply provide the onion and a compound light microscope. For your convenience, a Sordaria fimicola cross demonstration plate is also included to provide students with an accurate reference for their studies on crossing over and recombination that occurs during meiosis.
