Eight realistic, translucent cell models accurately and colorfully depict the stages of plant mitosis at approximately 3,000X, each showing the nucleus, nucleolus, chromosomes, cell plate, and spindle fibers; the cell inclusions and organelles are embedded in each cell. Each model is mounted on its own base, so students can become acquainted with one phase at a time, or use them all together to gain an overall perspective of the entire process. The set comes with a key, printed and on CD-ROM, identifying nine structures. Size of each: 2 1/2″L x 2 3/4″W x 3 1/2″H.
