The right side of the life-size model retains the chicken’s external appearance, while the left side reveals its inner anatomy, sectioned to show the nervous system, part of the skeletal system, and viscera. The left lung, liver, and stomach are removable for closer examination. Notable for its extensive detail, the model features a fully developed egg about to be laid, and a crop full of feed. The five-part model is mounted on a base and comes with a study guide identifying 69 structures. Size: 19 1/4″H x 19 1/4″W x 10 1/4″H.
