Our stain images proteins electrophoresed on polyacrylamide gels and, because it’s vinegar based, it’s completely nontoxic. It will destain in water, 10% acetic acid, or white vinegar, eliminating the use of hazardous solutions. The 500 mL bottle stains up to 20 gels.
