Can a compass display direction without a needle? It can if it features Brunton’s new patented magnetic disk. Instead of waiting for a needle to settle, you can obtain readings quickly, and with less chance of error, using the new “circle over circle” alignment design. The compass features a fast settle, magnified azimuth ring accurate to 1°; adjustable magnetic declination in 2° increments; and dual inclinometer with “easy-set” scale printed on the base. In addition, four guide cards providing latitude, longitude, and distance scales, plus UTM grids, are included for quick reference; they slip into the base for storage. It comes with a lanyard.
