Lightweight and compact, this microfuge features forced-air ventilation to ensure that specimens, rotor, and motor stay cool, even during extended runs. The easy-load rotor lets you load tubes vertically, yet spins in a 45° position. The unit slows down from maximum RPM to zero in approximately 20 seconds, and a safety switch instantly cuts power when the hinged lid is lifted. The round shape saves bench space and the oversized soft rubber base reduces noise and vibration. The large, clear polycarbonate cover provides complete rotor visibility.
