Featuring high-quality Achromat coated optics, this cast aluminum microscope also has a 360° rotatable head, rubber eyeguards for comfort during viewing, and interpupillary and diopter adjustment in both eyepieces. In addition, one eyepiece has a pointer. The self-adjusting focus mechanism prevents stage drift, while the positive stage stops and retractable 40X and 100X objectives protect the optics and the slides. The microscope has a focusable substage Abbe condenser and the superior illumination system lasts 20X longer than many other microscopes.
