High efficiency ceramic fiber thermal insulation ensures that heat is concentrated on the glassware, but the outer case remains stable and cool to the touch. In addition, the flexible heating element ensures efficient heat transfer and fast boiling times. It is also finished in a rigid blue chemical resistant case that reduces damage from accidental spillage. It reaches a maximum temperature of 450°C and comes with a support rod clamp, non-slip feet, and a 6 1/2′ cord. It does require an external Temperature Controller, which is available separately. 115 VAC.
