Adjustable Form Boyle’s Law Apparatus |
| Verify Boyle’s and Charles’ Law with One Apparatus |
A glass tube with a stopcock and a glass tube with a funnel top are located at opposite ends of flexible transparent tubing. The glass tubes are secured to vertical chrome-plated steel rods by spring clamps, which can be easily adjusted with one hand and permit the tubes to be moved up or down independently along a white plastic meter scale. The stopcock regulates the amount of air in the closed tube, while a heavy cast metal base and the rugged double-rod frame provide excellent stability. About 40 mL of mercury is required for operation. Size: 41″H.
