This program offers 25 cations that can be added to test tubes in any combination, as well as multiple reagents and lab manipulations that students need to analyze their samples. You can also generate practice unknown samples for them to analyze. The simulation allows for millions of possible experimental combinations, so students can experience almost any possible lab scenario. The user interface looks like a 3-D laboratory, students simply drag and drop chemicals and equipment in the proper sequence. In addition, help screens are available for guidance and videos or pictures from real labs show the results of each test.
