The ScholAR Chemical Inventory Database (CID) provides easy management of chemicals by recording the amount of each chemical in each storage place within a school. Data can be kept by room number or name, as well as by storage cabinet within a particular room. The CID comes with all ScholAR chemicals preloaded, and other chemicals can easily be added by manual entry or by importing a spreadsheet text file.
Users can search for chemicals by name or by location. When a chemical is displayed, the hazard class for that chemical is displayed for ready reference. In addition MSDSs for each ScholAR chemical can be accessed directly through an Internet connection after a chemical name is displayed.
The CID program uses an Access database engine (supplied as a part of the CID program, so no Microsoft license is required), and is available for Windows platforms only.
System requirements Windows 95 or higher, 128MB RAM, 48MB free disk space.
