Designed for general laboratory heating applications, the low-profile design of these hot plates conserves space and allows for an easy fit into most fume hoods. A microprocessor control also regulates heat and brings samples to desired temperature quickly and accurately. User-oriented features include a front panel with easy-to-use controls that allow users to dial-in adjustments, a spill-resistant housing that channels fluids away from the internal components, and a built-in support rod holder with locking knob on the rear of the unit. For additional safety, a hot-surface alert illuminates when the temperature rises above 40°C (104°F). All hot plates feature a ceramic top plate with an easy-to-clean, chemical-resistant, reflective white surface. Temperature range: 30°C to 500°C; 86°F to 932°F. 120 VAC.
