These exciting demonstrations will enhance your lessons on periodic trends, metal oxidation, and activity series of metals. We include small samples of Na, K, Mg and Ca so you can easily demonstrate periodic trends for the reaction of Group 1 and 2 metals with water. Using the metal ribbons and dilute hydrochloric acid, you can compare the reactivity of the metals Mg, Zn and Cu. The kit includes instructions and enough materials to repeat each demonstration five times.
