Temperature and Metabolism Lab Activity |

Students use a PASCO absolute pressure sensor and a temperature sensor to investigate how changes in temperature affect the rate of yeast metabolism. The activity, which can be completed in one 50-minute lab session, includes materials for eight setups, a teacher’s guide, and student copymasters. The lab requires one absolute pressure sensor and temperature sensor, as well as two USB Links or two Xplorer Datalogger interfaces per setup, all available separately.
