A durable and seamless injection-molded horizontal agarose electrophoresis chamber, this unit balances hands-on student participation with economy. The 7 x 7cm gel casting tray has an embossing gel ruler and includes rubber end caps, which seal the tray and eliminate cumbersome tray taping. Both the electrophoresis chamber and the gel casting trays are UV transparent for clear and constant viewing. Safety features include insulated electrical leads, corrosion resistant electrodes, adjustable leveling feet, and an interlocking cover. Included with the unit are a six tooth comb and a double 8/10 tooth comb.
