Produced by the natural breakdown of uranium, the odorless, colorless, tasteless gas, radon is known to cause lung cancer when found in high concentrations. This gas can be found in certain kinds of common rocks and soils and can be safely tested for with the contents of this kit. A charcoal sampling packet and a prepaid mailer are included so you can expose the packet to suspected radon gases, then seal and return the mailer to the test lab for analysis. The lab will return the test results (radon concentration in picocuries per liter), together with background and interpretative information. Note: kit is not available for sale in New Jersey.
