With an improved design, this polarizing microscope offers many advanced features often found only in much more expensive units. Newly redesigned polarizers allow the user to swing each polarizer completely out of the light path. You can also adjust the optical orientation of the substage polarizer by use of a 360° rotatable ring.
High quality achromatic objectives (EA4X, EA10X, and EA40X), a Bertrand lens, and bright, adjustable halogen illumination provide crystal clear views. And, a 45° inclined and rotatable monocular head; slide in analyzer with plaster, mica, and quartz compensator plates; and 360° rotatable stage are also featured. This polarizing scope also includes the free Boreal lifetime warranty.
