Eighteen Parts Provide a More Detailed Dissection of Internal Organs |
Complete thorough examination of internal structures and organ systems with this durable replica. Students can investigate the characteristics of individual organs with many removeable components, including trachea, eye with optic nerve and extraocular muscles, descending thoracic aorta and esophagus, liver with gallbladder, stomach, pancreas, duodenum and spleen with vessels and duct, small and large intestine with removable window in caecal region, and a removable cover in the groin area. Half of the brain is also detachable, divided along the longitudinal fissure to expose internal structures and blood vessels. Right and left lungs consist of two parts each, showing the bronchial tree and vasculature. Half of one kidney, also removeable, is sectioned along the frontal plane to show the internal structure and vessels, while the two-part heart shows the atria, ventricles, cardiac valves and section through the ventricular heart wall. The neck is dissected through the ventral surface to show muscular, glandular, vascular, and neural structures.
