How can a roller coaster car stay on the track when traveling in a large circular loop? Students will explore the answer to this question and more with the versatile Loop Track. Use an 80cm long straight portion of the track with a marble to investigate acceleration. The cicular portion allows students to experimentally determine the minimum velocity needed for the marble to fully make it around the loop. The Photogate System, available separately, allows for simple calculations when used with the Loop Track. The Fun Stand is required, but available separately.
