Trouble Creating Your Account/Logging In

Q: Why isn't my old wardsci.com login and password working? 
A: You may need to create a new web profile for the new wardsci.com even if you had one on the old wardsci.com. Create your Ward’s Science online account profile now.

Q: How do I create a new web profile? 
A: Before you start shopping, you’ll need to set up a new account profile to complete a purchase. This process takes just a few minutes, and gives you access to all the convenient, time-saving features at the new wardsci.com.

  1. Click My Profile in the top right corner of any wardsci.com page
  2. Click Register to create a Ward's Science web profile
  3. Choose your web profile type:
    • A Basic web profile: Select this option if you are not associated with an educational institution and would like to purchase non-restricted items with a credit card. Please note: There is a $1,000 purchase limit for Basic web profiles. You will need to apply for a Full web profile to purchase more than $1,000.
    • A Full web profile: Select this option if you are associated with an educational institution or company. This profile allows you to access all account features, including contract purchasing, purchase orders as payment, tax exemptions, and much more. 
      *Note: A shipping account number is required to create a Full Account Profile. If you do not know your account number, or are unsure if you have one, our customer service team can provide it to you. Call us at 800-962-2660 or email [email protected].   4. Follow the prompts to provide your information and create your web profile.

Q: I have a basic web profile and I want to upgrade to a full web profile. What should I do?
A: If you would like to upgrade to a full web profile and you know your shipping account number, simply log into your profile, enter your shipping account number in the box labeled "I have a Ward's Science Account Number," and click Update Your Profile. If you do not know your shipping account number or are unsure if you have one, click here to locate it, and then follow the steps above. If you do not have a shipping account number, click here to request one, then follow the steps above.

Q: I want to create a full web profile, but I don't know my shipping account number. What should I do?

Q: Why do I need a shipping account number to create a full web profile?
A: To access all the features a full web profile (including contract purchasing, tax exemption, purchase ordering as payment, restricted item purchasing, and more) our business system requires a valid shipping account number.

Q: My organization is tax exempt, and I would like to make tax exempt purchases. How can I add tax-exempt status to my account?
A: A full web profile is required for tax-exempt purchases. If your organization is tax exempt and you would like to make tax-exempt purchases with your account, a tax exemption certification is required. Please email your certificate to  [email protected] and include your shipping account number in the email.  You can also call the tax department at 484-881-5687.

Q: How do I change my User ID?
A: You cannot change your user ID for an existing profile. If you'd like to use a new User ID, please create a new web profile.

Q: The email address on my online web profile is incorrect. What should I do?
A: You may update your account profile with the correct email address. Sign in to your account; then hover your mouse over My Profile in the top right menu, and click My Profile to make updates to your profile.

Q: I have a Basic web profile and the shipping address in incorrect. What should I do?
A: You may update your account profile with the correct shipping address. Sign in to your account, then hover your mouse over My Profile in the top right menu, and click My Profile to make updates to your profile.

Q: I have a Full web profile and the shipping address in incorrect. What should I do?
A: Your shipping address is tied to the shipping account number associated with your full web profile. To change your shipping address, you will need to first update your shipping account number. To update your shipping account number and associated shipping address, sign in to your account, then hover your mouse over My Profile in the top right menu, and click My Profile under the Shipping Options tab, enter your new shipping account number and select Default to make this your default shipping account number and address. Then, delete the old shipping address to make this your new shipping address.

Q: I have a contract discount discount with Ward's Science. How do I see my discounted prices reflected on the website, and apply my discount at checkout?
A: Just sign in to your account profile to view all products on wardsci.com at your discounted price. Your discount will automatically be applied at checkout, no promo code or contract number required.

QI have a full web profile and I cannot select an alternate bill-to address. What should I do?
