Using prey remains of owls from the Northwestern and Southeastern regions of the U.S., students identify and compare the raptors’ diets. They also construct a food web with the information they obtained.

The owl pellets are sterilized and individually wrapped. The kit comes with enough materials for 15 setups.

Ordering information: This kit includes 15 owl pellets from the Northwest U.S. (sterilized), 15 owl pellets from Southeast U.S. (sterilized), 30 dissecting needles, dichotomous identification key, starch-testing solution, one teacher's guide, and one copymaster set of student study & analysis sheets.
