These include study sets suitable for students including insects trapped in amber and rock, and aquatic organisms preserved by porous coral or other sediments. Other fossilized organic matter includes fecal matter from animals long past. Vertebrae and other skeletal remains of ancient or extinct creatures are easy to study in detail with these fossils.
